Answer: We offer a diverse range of corporate training programs that focus on written communication.
We differentiate the programs based on the specificity of the required outputs and skills to be developed, as well as levels based on writing proficiency. These programs are tailored to fit various industries and roles.

Answer: Our training solutions cover a wide array of industries such as banking, energy, non-governmental organizations, state-owned enterprises, government ministries, healthcare, and technology, among others.

Answer: 10+ years.
We started our journey in 2012 under The Jakarta Post brand. We used to be called The Jakarta Post Writing Center. So, we’ve been doing this for over a decade.

Question: What are the measurable outputs we can expect from corporate training programs?
Answer: All of our programs are designed to equip participants with a set of skills and knowledge that enable them to communicate effectively through the written text.
The outputs are as follows: improved writing skills (clarity and precision, vocabulary expansion); enhanced writing process (time management, research skills); format and structure mastery; and self-editing skills.

Question: Is there a minimum or maximum number of participants per batch?
Answer: To ensure the effectiveness of the training, we require a minimum of 3 (three) participants and a maximum of 12 (twelve) participants per batch.

Answer: Our training programs focus on enhancing both business and creative writing skills.
We cover a range of topics, including content writing for various platforms and effective presentation development.
These programs are designed to improve clarity, engage audiences, and enhance overall communication effectiveness in professional settings.

Question: Do you always deliver the training in English?
Answer: The language of delivery can be adjusted between English and Bahasa Indonesia.
However, the lecture and reading materials, as well as assignment outputs, are always in English.

Question: Do you offer both in-person and online training programs?
Answer: Yes, we provide flexible training options including both in-person sessions at your preferred location and online training through interactive platforms to accommodate your team's needs and locations.

Question: What is the typical duration of a training program?
Answer: Training program lengths vary depending on the topic and depth of coverage, ranging from half-day workshops to comprehensive multi-day courses.

​Question: How flexible is the timetable for corporate training programs?
Answer: We will work very closely with you to determine the best training period for you and your team. Once we have decided on the time, date, and place, we expect very minor changes.

Question: Can participants use real work samples as assignments during the training?
Answer: Absolutely. We can tailor the assignments and exercises according to your desired outputs.

Question: Can we record the session for our documentation?
Answer: No. We reserve the right to our own documentation, lecture materials, and teaching methods.

Question: I notice there are different levels in the programs. How do I determine my team’s level?
Answer: For corporate training programs, we typically conduct a “discovery meeting” with you to better understand the participants’ challenges and current skill levels.
We will determine the most appropriate training level based on this meeting, and via the skills assessment test.
COSTS AND PAYMENTS

Question: What items does the training investment or fee cover?​​​
Answer: The cost includes the trainer fees, training materials, and access to any specialized tools or platforms used during the sessions.
Travel and meal expenses for in-person training may be additional, depending on location.

​Question: What does your cancellation policy look like?
Answer: Our cancellation policy is structured to accommodate changes while respecting the planning involved.
If you cancel after a training schedule has been set and agreed upon, a 50% cancellation fee of the total investment applies.
If cancellation occurs before the schedule is set but after a contract has been signed, a 25% cancellation fee is applicable.
This policy ensures that we can manage resources effectively while still offering flexibility for our clients' changing needs.

Question: Is there an additional cost for rescheduling?
Answer: There is no additional cost for rescheduling if the new date is within 6 months of the original contract signing.
If you need to reschedule for a date more than 6 months after the contract signing, there may be an additional fee to accommodate the extended timeframe.

Question: If my team is smaller than the maximum number of participants, will it reduce the investment value?
Answer: No. Our investment value is set for a maximum of 12 (twelve) persons.

Question: Do you require a deposit or full payment before the training starts?
Answer: We require at least a 50% deposit before training starts, with the remaining 50% due upon training completion.

Question: And if my company is unable to provide the required 50% deposit, what should I do to secure your services?
Answer: If your company is unable to provide the required 50% deposit, we encourage you to speak with our consultants.
We are open to discussing and negotiating payment terms that can work beneficially for both parties.
Our goal is to make our services accessible while ensuring a mutual commitment to the project.

Question: Do you offer any discounts for large groups or multiple sessions?
Answer: While we do not offer discounts for large groups, we do offer discounts for clients booking multiple sessions in a single contract.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS

Question: What are the qualifications of your trainers?
Answer: Our trainers are industry professionals with extensive experience and recognized qualifications in their respective fields.
We work with business consultants and creative writers and editors. They are selected for their expertise and their ability to deliver engaging and effective training.

Question: Can we ask for the trainers’ CV or work histories prior to engagement?
Answer: We maintain a strict privacy policy regarding our trainers' personal information, including their CVs and specific work histories, to protect their confidentiality.
However, we can assure you that all our trainers are highly qualified and have been rigorously vetted for their expertise and teaching abilities.
We provide detailed profiles that highlight their qualifications, areas of expertise, and past training experiences to ensure you have enough information to feel confident in their abilities to deliver high-quality training.

Question: Can we choose the trainer for our program?
Answer: While we recommend trainers based on their expertise and your specific needs, we are happy to discuss your preferences and accommodate your choice whenever possible.
LOGISTICS AND SCHEDULING

Question: How far in advance do we need to book a training session?
Answer: We recommend booking at least 6-8 weeks in advance to ensure availability and adequate preparation time, though we can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines based on your needs.

Question: What is required from our side to set up the training?
Answer: We typically need a suitable space for in-person training, participant details, and any specific company materials you want incorporated into the training.
For online sessions, ensuring that all participants have the necessary technical setup is key.

Question: Can training sessions be rescheduled, and if so, what is your policy?
Answer: Training sessions can be rescheduled with at least one week's notice, with the new date being within 6 months of the original schedule.
We strive to be flexible and will work with you to find a new date that suits your schedule.
OUTCOMES AND FOLLOW-UP

Answer: Success is measured through participant feedback, assessments, and observing improvements in performance and productivity.

Do all participants receive a certificate or recognition after completing the training?
Answer: Yes, participants receive a certificate of completion that recognizes their commitment and the skills they have gained through our training programs.

Answer: Yes, upon completion of the training, your company will receive a comprehensive performance report.
